This was the first time out with a Regimental Coat; matter of fact, the buttons were being sewn on Friday night and the lace on the pocket flaps was still missing. The Kilmarnock is still missing it's feathers, but I was pleased to get out with other Napoleonic Re-enactors... no matter the look on my face!

A little fun at the Ball Saturday evening. French, Highland, and Russian Soldiers seem a bit overly happy, although the Empire Period dresses might have something to do with their attitudes. A local Regency Dance Group organized a programme of dances and taught them to all comers.
