The old Scottish Gaelic phrase above states the mission of this group... Remember the Valour and Brave Deeds of our Forefathers. For centuries this motto has inspired generations of Scots, both Highland and Lowland, to build the reputation of the Highland Regiments to a level that has rarely been equaled in World Military History. It is our purpose to present, as accurately as possible, this history to the modern public, so that they will know the sacrifices that have been made in the cause of freedom. To meet this purpose, we:
Our primary impression is to portray a Section of the 7th Battalion, The Black Watch during the North-west European Campaigns from June of 1944 to April 1945. The uniform for the 7th Battalion consists of Woolen Battledress, Tin Hats, and No. 4 Enfield Rifles.

During Summer Display events, we wear the uniform worn by the 7th when it was in North Africa and Sicily during the period from 1942 to 1943. The uniform worn during this time was Khaki Dill Shirts and Desert Shorts.

In 2006, we started to interpret the 2nd Battalion, The Black Watch as it appeared in 1944 before and during their Chindit Expedition behind Japanese lines in Burma. The 2nd Battalion wore Slouch Hats and Jungle Green cotton uniforms to blend into the jungle.

We also do several "Soldiers of Scotland" Timeline events, where members of the unit represent different Scottish Regiments from various periods. From the Independant Companies of the 1740's, to the Fields of Waterloo, to the countryside of France during the Second World War, right down to the Scots fighting today in Iraq; we are proud to tell the story of the generations of Scots who fought for their Homeland.
